SUPPLIES NEEDED:Crochet Cotton Thread
                                           Crochet Hook, size 8
                                           215 buttons, assorted colors, sizes
                                           Scissors

NOTE: Since the hook is too large to insert through the buttons, pre-string all the buttons on the thread before starting to crochet. Thread the crochet thread onto a sewing needle and string all the buttons onto it in a random pattern.

ABBREVIATIONS:        sl st = slip stitch
                                          ch = chain
                                          sc = single crochet

CROCHET INSTRUCTIONS are located at the bottom of this page.

ROW 1: Chain 150, turn.

ROW 2: sl st in 10th ch from hook (to form buttonhole). sc in next 17 ch of row 1. * ch 2, slide up a button, ch 1 *, repeat between * 4 times. (there will be 5 buttons) sl st in same place as last sc. sc in next 3 ch on row 1.

MAKE 5 OF THE ABOVE 5-BUTTON LOOPS.

WORK 1 6-BUTTON LOOP.

WORK 21      7-BUTTON LOOPS.

WORK 1        6-BUTTON LOOPS.

WORK 5        5-BUTTON LOOPS.

sc in next 17 ch of row 1.

Fasten off, leaving a tail of thread.

Tie a shank button onto the thread tail.
