Cotton Crochet Thread Crochet Hook, size 8 50 buttons Scissors |

ch = chain sc = single crochet dc = double crochet sl st = slip stitch |
NOTE: Since the hook used is too large to insert through the button, the buttons are strung on the thread before starting to crochet. Thread the end of the thread through a needle, then string all 50 buttons onto it.CROCHET information is located at the bottom of this page
ROW 1: Ch 115, sl st in 9th ch from hook (for buttonhole loop), ch 3, dc in each ch across. Ch 1, turn.
ROW 2: *Sc in next 3 dc, ch 2, sl st in 1st ch to form picot.* Repeat from * 14 times. Ch 2, pull up a button, ch 2, sc in next dc. Repeat 49 times. Sc in next 3 dc, ch 2, sl st in 1st ch to form picot, sc in next 3 dc to end of chain. End thread leaving a tail long enough to tie a shank button for fastener.
