..... This site is dedicated to the combined and cooperative research of the families whose lives and destinies were so intertwined during the fifty-year period from circa 1800 to circa 1850, and their joint migration from the area of Georgia, to Alabama, to Texas.  At this time the focus of this site's researchers includes the families of:

Gilmore /  Henson / Landrum / Springer / Thomas

Other families may be added to our list as we become more knowledgeable about the group already identified.

OBJECTIVES:
1) To combine our resources and talents to identify, understand and document the complex relationships between these families in the 50-year period from 1800-1850 covering their migration from Georgia,to Alabama, and on to Texas.
2) Since preliminary evidence suggests that some, if not all, the above families established their relationships prior to migrating south to Georgia, we hope to explore and document their history prior to the above period.
3) To provide a commonly accessible location for the collection and dissemination of information on the above families.
