1. Lay out a piece of waxed paper slightly larger than the stationery size you want to create.
2. Paint or spread on a layer of Mod Podge (or white glue) over the area you want to place the flowers on.
3. If using silk flowers, take them apart and press with an iron if they need to be flattened.
4. Lay the silk flower or pressed flower over the white glue or Mod Podge on the waxed paper.
5. Paint or spread another layer of Mod Podge over the flowers and over the whole waxed paper (the area to be covered by the tissue).
6. Take a regular tissue or napkin, separate the two layers.
7. Press the tissue into the Mod Podge and over the flowers. The sheet will be wet so let it dry before trimming the edges.
8. Cut plain or colored paper the same size or smaller to go inside the stationery.
9. Fold the outer flowered piece and the paper insert in half to make a folded card. Tie a piece of ribbon around the fold to hold the inside and outside together.
If you include several sheets of writing paper inside the card, you can write a note to someone, they can remove your note and write a note of their own to send to someone else.
